What You’ll Do

In your role as a Technical Marketing Manager you will be the expert in articulating and capturing the key value points and differentiators of CloudBees most popular product, and then transforming that knowledge into marketing collateral, sales tools and to the market in general.

  • Demo Ecosystem: Drive creation of “a first of its kind internal demo ecosystem”, as architect and product manager.
    • The demo ecosystem will based on to be identified needs of our product marketing, solution architect and field teams.
    • The demo ecosystem will provide on demand demo environments for our products, modeling real world technical challenges and demonstrating our suite to address them.
  • Evangelism and thought leadership:
    • Internal Enablement: Provide internal support as subject matter expert on technical matters related to CI/CD and CloudBees Product
  • Research and development
  • Market intelligence: Be on expert on our users, how they use our tools,. Why they use our tools, and what other established and emerging solutions are in the market; Help arm our team with the technical knowledge and proofs to embrace our supporting solutions and beat our competing solutions, while truly understanding and meeting the needs of our users

What the role requires

  • Desired 2-4+ years experience with technical marketing of enterprise and/or developer focused software
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in development or engineering support
  • Understanding and experience with modern development methods like Agile, SCRUM, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and DevOps
  • Experience with web applications languages and development
  • Technical writing examples
  • Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the proven technical and business acumen to translate technical capabilities into business value and business needs into technical implementations
  • Very strong written communication skills with proven focus on content for developers and engineering management
  • A technical background or demonstrated marketing to highly technical users and buyers
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties
  • SaaS / content-centric marketing experience in a subscription-based business
