Our Story

In 2012, Markus Seebauer was on a long-term backpacking trip around the world when he started running out of money. Out of the desire to continue traveling, he began doing translations online to increase his income. This was the start of Gateway Translations.

Fast forward 6.5 years later to today: We (the Gateway team) are distributed across 40+ countries and a highly specialized Language Service Provider (LSP) for 45 languages with a laser-focus on German engineering companies (hidden champions), translation of technical documentation and high-impact website localization.

We are looking for a native German business development / sales & marketing person.

You should be a strong communicator and ideally be interested in learning about online marketing quickly / growing your existing skill set in online marketing.

You will be working directly with two people, the project manager and Markus Seebauer. Seebauer is a part of the Dynamite Circle which is an exclusive group for successful online entrepreneurs and you will be reporting directly to him..

The rest of the diverse team is spread throughout the world. You will be able to meet Seebauer and part of the team in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, for a one-month introductory and training period.

 

Responsibilities

  • Searching for contacts on Xing based on company lists
  • Sending personalized connection requests on Xing/LinkedIn
  • Identifying profitable customer segments in coordination with project management
  • Scheduling cold email sequences based on existing templates and improving them
  • Creating email templates for new customer segments
  • Reaching out to marketing-qualified leads via social media and phone
  • Expanding contacts in client companies
  • Follow-ups via phone
  • Nurturing leads who are not on social media by sending them relevant content
  • Ordering & reviewing content based on existing content ideas and come up with the content ideas based on issues prospects have
  • Quoting in coordination with project management team
  • Improving marketing collateral especially for new customer segments
