IELTSPodcast is one of the leading online providers for students preparing for IELTS. We provide online courses, materials, tutorials and essay correction; all geared towards getting measurable improvements for our students.

We have a small team of academic professionals from the UK and US, based around the globe who help students prepare for the exam.

We were the first IELTS Podcast to be produced, we are the leaders in the IELTS Podcast niche, with monthly downloads of around 60,000.

IELTS is a fast growing sector, especially with demand from Asian students wanting to study in the West.

IELTSPodcast is the only online course in the market to offer a guarantee to its students.

We are now expanding! 

We are looking for a motivated professional to establish new deals and relationships with potential partners. Currently our efforts are with content development but there is an opportunity in partnerships we want to explore.

Here are some details about this position

Key Priority

  • Increase the number of partnerships with related businesses.
  • Research and identify potential partners. For example, a lot of students are planning to study in the UK and will need to take the IELTS, so your job would be to contact the agencies managing this transition for the student. You would then need propose a form of cooperation so the student is offered our courses by the agency.
  • Plan outreach strategy (Linkedin, email, phone call, direct mail).
  • Onboard new partners.

Secondary Tasks

  • Email response / Customer care.
  • Publish WordPress posts, basic SEO.
  • Outreach to appear on guest podcasts, guest blogs and other opportunities.

Typical day

  • Outreach to appear on guest podcasts, guest blogs and other opportunities.
  • Morning call to establish goals for the day / week.
  • Research and plan outreach campaign.
  • Set up campaign using platforms and tools such as Linkedin, Gmass, Gmail etc.
  • Review / log past week’s efforts and push forward projects in limbo / waiting for approval.

INTANGIBLES…. You are….

  • Someone that’s ambitious, resourceful, independent, and results driven. You should have a creative flair to solve problems. Driven towards results and task completion. Have no issue with owning the result.
  • Able to take ownership and accountability for everything. Even if a project goes wrong, your first response is always “I take full responsibility. Here’s what I’m already doing to fix it.”
  • Willing to learn new software.
  • You pay attention to detail and follow instructions carefully.

  • Able to work remotely with your own phone, computer and high speed internet access in place. Spotty connectivity won’t do.
  • Planned and methodical in your work.
  • Detailed oriented and data driven.
The lucky candidate will receive mentoring and coaching from the founder, Ben Worthington.

  • Your schedule is entirely your responsibility, however this is 40h a week, and it will be time tracked.
  • A weekly morning call with the founder to discuss results of previous week, and next steps to be taken.
