The Role

The Amazon PPC Senior Account Director is a pivotal role within the team, tasked with spearheading Amazon advertising initiatives to drive sales and enhance brand visibility.

This individual will develop, execute, and optimise comprehensive PPC strategies on Amazon’s platform.

A deep understanding of Amazon’s advertising ecosystem, including sponsored products, sponsored brands, and display ads, is essential. The role demands keyword research, bid management, and analytics expertise to ensure maximum ROI. Additionally, the Senior Account Director will oversee a team of PPC specialists, providing guidance and leadership to achieve advertising goals.

This position requires staying abreast of the latest Amazon trends and algorithm changes, ensuring strategies remain cutting-edge. Exceptional communication skills are crucial, as the role involves coordinating with various internal teams and presenting performance reports to clients.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in Amazon PPC, strong analytical and leadership abilities, and a passion for driving growth in a dynamic e-commerce environment.

Your responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Manage a high-performing PPC team.

  • Establish and implement clear Standard Operating Procedures for PPC campaign management, ensuring consistency and efficiency.

  • Develop training programs and KPI initiatives to enhance the team’s skills, knowledge, and motivation in Amazon PPC advertising.

  • Lead end-to-end PPC management for various Amazon accounts, including strategy, research, optimisation, and reporting.

  • Play a role in the onboarding process of new clients, ensuring tailored support for their unique needs.

  • Collaborate with our team and clients to troubleshoot challenges.

Required Skills and experience

  • Team Leadership Qualities and experience are a must.

  • Agency Experience Needed.

  • Fluent in English (talking and writing).

  • 4-year minimum experience managing Amazon PPC.

  • Experience handling PPC A-Z.

  • Analytically minded with the ability to translate data into performance-boosting action.

  • Experience using Helium 10 and other similar tools.

  • Understanding of Brand Analytics.

  • Microsoft Excel efficient.

  • Understanding a listing, CVR metrics, and the factors that help listings convert.

  • Self-motivated and can demonstrate the ability to work as a team player.

  • Experience in an agency setting.
