What’s the role about ?

We are looking for a Paid Media Specialist to join our growing Consumer marketing team. You will be hands-on managing our search campaigns across Google and Bing, helping to identify strong keyword opportunities for our brand, and spend optimization opportunities for keyword cleanup. This role will also be crucial in our transition to Google Discovery and Performance Max campaigns. You will be responsible for: keyword research, identifying landing page test opportunities, CTA & Copy Testing, proofreading, reporting of Search campaigns, and providing budget spend recommendations. In this role, you'll exercise your full range of strategic, analytical, and creative skills to help millions of learners achieve their goals every day.

Embedded within the marketing team, you will work closely with the creative, product, and data science teams to implement marketing campaigns focused on the entire end-to-end user journey.

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of paid campaigns across Google and Bing ad platforms, such as Search, Display, YouTube, and Discovery

  • Leverage external agencies to assist with all aspects of ad account management and improvement

  • Regularly optimize campaigns, ad groups, audiences, targeting, messaging, and budget allocations across Google and Bing to meet target KPIs

  • Help transition Google Search campaigns to Performance Max & Discovery Campaigns

  • Implement a rapid and iterative testing schedule to test optimization theories and discover new opportunities for channel growth

  • Have a strong pulse on channel performance and be able to communicate drivers of strength/softness, learnings, and recommendations in performance meetings

  • Launch promotional campaigns and leverage in-platform features, messaging, and budget allocations to maximize promo efficacy

  • Work with Google reps to participate in new ad platform features, beta programs, and any incentive programs

  • Maintain knowledge of industry best practices, tools, and new technologies (especially AI)

  • Monitor and analyze web analytics and campaign performance

  • Defining campaign budgets, align campaign goals, and ensure adherence to search optimization principles

What do you need ?

  • 2-3 years of Google ad management experience, B2C SaaS/subscription experience preferred

  • 1-2 years of YouTube ad management experience

  • Familiarity with other Paid Social Channels (Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat, etc.) a plus

  • Experience with channel budgeting process

  • Deep analytical and data acumen and familiarity with Excel/Google Sheets, and business intelligence tools such as Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Looker, etc. to analyze results and identify new opportunities

  • Familiarity with Paid Media reporting tools & automations such as Supermetrics, Funnel.io, Revealbot, AdRoll, and etc.

  • Comprehensive understanding of the marketing funnel and developing ad campaigns for different stages of the funnel with appropriate messaging and user journeys

  • Ability to communicate and report paid channel performance from a mix of data sources - platform, internal database, multi-touch attribution model

  • Strong understanding of multi-touch attribution/marketing mix models, along with incrementality.
