Content Creator

We need someone ready to jump in and get their hands dirty creating awesome content for our new social shop, Banana Stand Content, LLC. We are looking for a creative brain who lives and breathes social. Many might call this person a “content creator.” We need someone who can concept and create social content natively through the apps and also has some additional editorial, shooting and animation skills. We will look to this person to be fully up on what is going on culturally across the platforms and be able to use that knowledge to create timely and creative interactions.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Weekly/daily social squad meetings as well client meetings

• Concepting of social ideas

• Comping ideas, when necessary 

• Executing social ideas — native and non-native to apps

• Staying up to date on platform-specific trends and in-app capabilities

• Shooting photography, editing, animating — “making skills”
  

Requirements:

• Live and breathe social

• Create engaging, inventive content within app for all platforms

• Leverage new platforms

• Edit together videos

• Shoot content with phone

• Ability to put ideas into a deck and sell to client

• Thrive in a collaborative environment

• Be constantly curious

• Love working with others

• Very proactive 

• Always thinking of new ways to hack social

• At least one to two+ years of experience creating engaging content

• Proficiency with Adobe products

• Ability to work After Effects or other animation capabilities

• Knowledge in visual/video styling is a plus
  

Living in or close to Austin, Texas is a plus!
