About the Role

The Proof Sales Director is critical to our company growth. You’re smart, resourceful, creative, and passionate. The Sales Director will be responsible for leading a high performing, regional sales team, developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, driving revenue growth, and fostering strong relationships with law firms and legal professionals across the country. Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive market penetration in the legal technology sector.

  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing national sales team, providing guidance, support, and training to maximize individual and team success.

  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, challenges, and objectives to deliver tailored solutions and exceed expectations.

  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments, leveraging insights to identify new business opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.

  • Performance Monitoring: Track sales performance metrics, analyze data, and generate reports to assess team performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous sales optimization.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Success, to ensure alignment of sales efforts with company objectives and priorities.

  • Sales Process Optimization: Streamline sales processes, develop sales collateral and tools, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.

  • Budget Management: Manage sales budgets, expenses, and resources effectively, optimizing allocation to achieve maximum ROI and profitability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.

  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles preferably within the legal technology industry, with a minimum of 7 years of professional experience.

  • Strong understanding of legal technology solutions, industry trends, and competitive landscape.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans, drive revenue growth, and exceed sales targets.

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and sales forecasting.

Location:

  • This position is remote based.

  • Travel required as necessary.

Salary range - Base $115,000 to $125,000 OTE $185,000 to $195,000 based on location and experience
