About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, proactive Content Marketing Copywriter to grow and optimize our content flywheel. In this role, you'll be the creative force behind emails, landing pages, guides, blogs, descriptions, ads, scripts, and content related to program marketing and sales. The ideal person for this role will be able to alleviate bottlenecks by providing clear and creative content that aligns with our established brand.
Here are the three primary components of the Content Marketing Copywriter role:
Copywriting for various channels and formats: Your main task in this role is to create persuasive, on-brand content for different channels and formats. This includes researching your audiences and personas, crafting emails, landing pages, and ads that convert, creating engaging educational content across social and blogs, outlining content for video, and distilling complex information for lead magnets. Your words will be used across various platforms to effectively communicate our message.
Content Strategy: In collaboration with key stakeholders, you’ll develop and pitch new ideas for content strategies, funnels, mediums, and formats, with the goal of improving engagement and conversions across channels.
Developing Projects and Timelines with Stakeholders for Copy Creation: You'll work closely with cross-departmental team members to bring copy and content ideas to life. Plan and set up timelines for creating written content. This means talking with people from different teams like marketing, sales, and our programs to understand the content opportunities that exist and what’s required.
Experience and Qualifications
Required:
7+ years of copywriting experience, in an agency or in-house setting
Experience writing copy for integrated multi-channel campaigns including email, blogs, social posts (for brand and/or personal), social ads, and Google ads.
Content creation and content strategy experience
Project management experience
Preferred:
B2B/SaaS sales-led or product-led experience
Grown an organic audience on a social platform
Marketing strategy experience
Data analytics experience
Knowledge and use of AI tools like ChatGPT
