Support Content Specialist (Contractor)

Your Team: 

The Seesaw Customer Support team is integral to our customer’s success. We care deeply about our product and we work closely with every team across the organization to ensure we deliver top quality support to schools, teachers and their families. 

Your Role:

Reporting to the Knowledge Manager, the Support Content Specialist (Contractor) is responsible for writing and editing Support Help Center documentation for the Support organization as well as Seesaw customers. This person must have excellent research and writing skills, user empathy, and be able to structure and translate technical content into easy-to-read content for both internal and external audiences. 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain product and process content for multiple audiences, such as how-to documentation, FAQs, and help center articles for both customers and employees

  • Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, while working independently and with team members

  • Work with cross-functional teams (Support, Product, Customer Success, etc.) to improve documentation gaps and needs

  • Assist with regular reviews of the knowledge base to identify areas that need to be updated/expanded and to maintain freshness of content

  • Assist with regular training to users of the knowledge base and gather feedback on a regular basis

  • Complete writing assignments according to content guidelines regarding clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology

  • Select photographs, drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts to illustrate content

Requirements:

  • Strong written English language skills

  • Advanced computer skills and experience with web-based applications such as Zendesk, Canva, Google Suite.

  • Proficient working cross-functionally with distributed teams

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Flexibility to pivot with the demands of the business or shift priorities quickly

Compensation & Benefits:

Our compensation ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry. Individual pay decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, geography, and balancing internal equity relative to other Seesawers. It is our expectation that the majority of candidates who are offered roles at Seesaw will land well within our compensation ranges based on these factors.

The hourly rate range for this position is: $17.00

This is a non-exempt position.
