Demand Generation Specialist

About the Role

Are you excited to test and launch new demand generation programs? Do you thrive working cross-functionally to hit full funnel targets? We’re seeking a Demand Generation Specialist to help build programs towards marketing pipeline targets and new user acquisition. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing quarterly strategic plans. You’ll be responsible for creating programs that directly influence both the lead, user, and account funnels, generating demand and pipeline for our sales-led and self-service business. You will work with cross-functional teams like product, sales, and marketing to achieve pipeline and revenue objectives. If you have a data-driven mindset and are exceptionally skilled at working in an innovative, fast-paced environment, this role is for you.

This is a remote role open to candidates located in Canada.

What You’ll Work On

  • Create strategic demand generation plans and execute against them to meet pipeline, revenue, and user growth goals

  • Work with a group of cross-functional marketers to build engaging programs to achieve quarterly plans 

  • Work with various internal and external teams to create messaging and communications that align with common goals

  • Leverage channels such as advocate referrals, in-person/virtual events, paid media, and email to drive demand generation

  • Write content to support demand generation emails, ads, and campaigns 

  • Measure the performance of marketing programs and assess against goals

  • Evaluate potential programs alongside leadership

  • Work with key internal teams and external channels to collaborate on strategic initiatives, identify influencers and partnerships, and promote Vidyard solution

What You’ll Bring to this Role and Your New Team

  • A minimum of 2 years experience as a marketing specialist, or demand generation specialist in B2B software

  • Strong technical aptitude and an ability to learn new tools quickly and self-sufficiently

  • Experience working closely with sales and partner teams

  • Experience working with a Salesforce and/or equivalent CRM systems, webinar platforms, and reporting softwares such as Looker or Power BI

  • Hands-on experience project managing initiatives from start to finish

  • A strong knowledge on demand generation best practices. You consistently invest in upskilling and learning about trends in the industry

  • An attention to detail that is second to none

  • An ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage projects independently

  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

  • A desire to provide strategic direction and build programs from start to finish
